Other Fees

Date/Time Change Fee

You can change the time and/or date of your flight by paying the Date/Time Change Fee listed below. In case of fare differences, any additional amount must be paid. If you confirm the change to your booking, it will be subject to the price at that time. If the fare is lower at the time of the change, the fare difference already paid will not be refunded.

*For bookings originating from Korea (One-way/Round-trip/Open-jaw) - A change fee of KRW 30,000 (per one-way) will be applied if the change is made 48 hours before the scheduled departure time. A change fee of KRW 60,000 (per one-way) will be applied if you change within 48 hours of the scheduled departure time.

E-Payment Fee (i.e. Convenience Fee)

This is the administrative fee incurred when transacting with us through electronic payment (applicable to all bookings except flights departing from Hong Kong). This fee applies to any flight booking (and any subsequent date/time changes). Visit here to learn more about our payment options.

Name Correction Fee

The fee is required for each minor correction of each passenger's name (calculated per order), with a maximum of three letters allowed for spelling corrections.

Infant Fee

Applicable to infants less than 2 years old and not occupying any seats (i.e., being held in an adult’s lap) only.

For infants occupying a seat or children aged between 2 and 11 (inclusive), child fare shall be charged. Please contact our Customer Connect (https://www.hkexpress.com/en-hk/need-help/customer-care/) to book a dedicated seat for your infant and/or child.

Service Channel Fee via Customer Connect

Applicable to any initial bookings or date/time changes for your flights through Customer Connect. The Service Channel Fee is charged per customer per segment.
