Update on Flight Status
Hong Kong, 10 ก.ย., 2561
The safety of our guests and crew is of utmost importance to HK Express. Due to recent widespread flooding in Osaka, Japan, caused by Tropical Cyclone Jebi, Kansai International Airport in Osaka remains temporarily closed. After reviewing the situation, HK Express confirms to cancel all Hong Kong-Osaka flights until 13 September 2018 inclusive.
Guests who are currently in Osaka may consider returning to Hong Kong via Nagoya and Fukuoka. HK Express has upgraded the aircraft of Nagoya and Fukuoka flights in the coming days to a larger model for more seating capacity, ensuring travellers can continue their journey back to Hong Kong. It will take approximately one hour travelling from Osaka to Nagoya and three hours to Fukuoka by Shinkansen. For more details about the transportation, please visit www.westjr.co.jp/global/en/.
We are communicating with the airport authorities and monitoring the situation in Osaka closely. As further changes are expected for flights between Hong Kong and Osaka, guests who are booked on flights within the coming week are recommended to check the latest flight status on Hong Kong International Airport’s website www.hongkongairport.com or the HK Express’ official website www.hkexpress.com for more updates.
Option 1: Date/time change to the same route within 7 days
Option 2: Change to a new route of HK Express network within 7 days
Option 3: Full refund on either the affected flight sector or the whole booking
The above change is subject to seats availability. For the change arrangement or any enquiry, guests are advised to reach us via live chat on our ‘Contact Us’ page, or contact our Call Centre at (852) 3902 0288 or via email guest.relations@hkexpress.com.
