Hong Kong’s low-fare airline HK Express is pleased to report outstanding performance in the first month of 2017, achieving a record-setting 91% load factor in January. This follows an impressive 89% average load factor for the past 12 months – an indication that HK Express is operating near full capacity on every flight.

In just 12 months, the ambitious low-fare airline introduced the all new U-Biz corporate programme, welcomed the first A320neo in North Asia, took delivery of an A321, launched 8 new routes across Asia, formed the U-FLY Alliance, and was named one of the world’s safest low-cost carriers.

HK Express is pleased to welcome its highly anticipated Udon livery, which was unveiled today. Painted on both sides with features of Kagawa Prefecture and Takamatsu, the aircraft is aptly named “Sanuki Udon”. The first flight sporting the new Udon design was UO1522, departing from Hong Kong to Takamatsu this morning.

As one of the founding members of the alliance, HK Express is pleased to welcome the first alliance branded aircraft to Hong Kong, which is the second one to sport the vibrant livery, following West Air earlier this month.
